Ethereal tears roll down my face
I'm sorrowful, yet there's no trace
Of agony, yet in my eyes
There's no deceit, I cannot lie

If you stared deep, within the blue
You'd see the way I looked at you
The way that we could never be
The way I prayed that you'd love me

Ethereal tears I've never shed
Except for times 'lone in my bed
When you could never hear me cry
The one time that I'll never hide

I wish I could show you the truth
Of what you really mean to me
Yet I cannot, too much to lose
I wish somehow you would just see

Ethereal tears for my last wish
That you never know that I miss
The things you could have felt with me
The way I'd make you feel happy
