Eureka Moments Lost In Noise Poem by Terence George Craddock

Eureka Moments Lost In Noise

Rating: 5.0

sometimes I quiet wonder
how much is lost in noise
sit noble art of silent sitting

listening watching a fire's flames
is a world realm of solitude wonders;
into which minds great or low may soar

peace contentment stolen smokes
soothes waiting beyond veil flames
an open waiting exploration door

listening watching a fire's flames
listening watching lit a fire's flames
listening watching lit a chameleon fire's flames

Inspired by the four lines below quoted from the poem 'Personal Talk' by William Wordsworth. ''Better than such discourse doth silence long, / Long, barren silence, square with my desire; / To sit without emotion, hope, or aim, / In the loved presence of my cottage-fire, '' Written in August 2014 on the 23.8.2014.
