Evanescent Plethora

As I awaken with you here tonight
My soul can only comprehend
The wonderful sentiment
Of the delight you bring to life

‘I Love You’

Such glamorous words constrain my spirit
As the thoughts of plethora cross my mind
These words are so deep
As they approach
My lips taste phobia

As I awaken with you here tonight
My soul can only comprehend
The wonderful sentiment
Of the affection I feel alive

‘I Love You’

I feel like I’m finally getting the courage
To look you in the eyes
And recite these words tonight
I feel like I’m finally getting the courage
To go through the evanescent plethora
To convey the magnificent sentiment
I feel with you every time

As I awaken with you here tonight
My soul can only comprehend
The wonderful sentiment
Of the affection we embrace together

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
