Even If It All Came To An End Now Poem by Franchesca Mia Tortoza

Even If It All Came To An End Now

Hey,  even if it all came to an end now,
Keep it, and hide it deep in your heart—
The miracle of our togetherness, our friendship,
The times when your spirit made me smile brighter than ever—
Because all these little things are what compose our world.

The clock can't turn back, and time lost is lost forever,
What was done then cannot be altered.
But the hearts of people—they can always be changed.
The excitement from our first meeting, the rush of joy in us, is slowly fading; flickering
But still,  I can feel your feelings.

Someday,  we will meet like we once have done.
Someday,  we will meet as the best friends we promised to be.
For even if the present ended
We've built too many memories.
Truth and reality.
Fabricated and discovered.
We laughed and we cried.
We fought, but made up.
These seemingly insignificant things will make our future.

You ask me,
'Why do the important things to you only not show up in your eyes? '
Always,
I respond,
'Because that is something that does not belong only to humans. Even in the future.'

I finally realize
The unique shine in this.
I finally seek
The warmth of your arms.

Hey,  even if the future is not within our reach
We will gain the resolve
So that I can choose you,  and you can choose me.
A glimmer that surpasses common sense,
And a friendship that can change the world.

People give birth to stars because they are love fills their hearts.
Stars cultivate the earth for the sake of their friends.
Like water,  like heat,  like love
Like boundless time,  it flows throughout the soul—each and every sould
And it will weave the future of the universe.
The future of all the worlds.

Hey,  even if the present ends,
I have no regrets.
If I hadn't interacted with you,  I wouldn't have laughed or cried.

Hey, even if it all ended now,
I'm glad I became your friend.
Even if I'm from a different world.
Without this bond, I would've forever stayed emotionless.

Surely, soon enough,
The nostalgic yet new today is the beginning of a bridge to the future.
