Evening Stroll Poem by David Taylor

Evening Stroll

Rating: 5.0

Flickering firelight
with marshmallow shadows,
walking on starlight
with moonbeam ladders;
leading onto the velvety
vastness of sky,
that fills us with wonder
as we we walk
through the night.
Your hand in my heart.
Your love in my eyes.
Your fragrance enfolds me.
Your petals caress me.
Holding, embracing,
that which we know never dies.
Oh poetry of poets,
oh art of our hearts.
That never leaves us,
that never departs.

This is lovely David, a very embracing poem, a delight to find and a pleasure to read. Very nice indeed. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
