Behind these eyes,
so many lies,
so many unshed tears,
so many wasted years.
Pain beyond human control,
tearing away at the edges of my soul,
burning everything in it's path,
burning my skin with it's fiery wrath.
On my hands and knees I fall apart,
breaking through right to my heart,
wandering these streets I am alone,
turning heads, they've never known.
Blindly disregarding how hard I've tried,
breaking away as I slowly died.
Now I'm bartering my soul,
soon paying the toll,
to tune my heart strings,
as from the gallows they swing.
And the last thing I'll ever see; what I see before I die,
is every single tear you'll ever cry.
