There is this girl i'm starting to like
and everytime i'm around her
I feel free like a bird,
and fly like a kite.

Guts go all fuzzy, mouth all dry
and everythime i'm around her
I can't ignore these feelings
I can not lie.

When I moved up here I didn't think to find
a girl just like her,
that I like sooo much
always making me smile and speaking her mind

And when she smiles
the darkness turns to light
nothing can go wrong
and to see it i'll run for miles.

I love Jolene so much
she's in my heart
not in my head
like some schoolboy crush.
