Exhale

Eternal
Shredding through the hands of fate
The waking strand of light
Subtle, evoking
The thoughts of my
Last contempt
Searching for
Eluded memories
Faded and relieved
Curled hands
Crippled hands
Long cold fingers
Running through fears
Holding eons captive
And the light
The empty light
Cherished
By the slumber
Of so many
Startled in the hands of
Fates
Eternally.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
