Exhilaration Poem by Gautam Sen

Feelings flooded last night
as I filled myself with sights
of unbelievable splendor
planted out of golden seeds
of someone special's love.

I know the wave that hit
my receptor mind and soul,
reactive in all promptness,
arouse me to open the doors
and floors just to let it in.

A light of inspiration incited
within, in a way of gratitude
by a courtly flash of an ardent
call from a star far ahead in the galaxy.
I found my desolate mind
in a total surrender.

My dancing mind made open its cage
to free my soul to take a flight
through that cosmic path of rays –
luminous in a gorgeous way to
a lone paradise where someone waited.

Let you know my ultimate fate
as I swung through the floating gate
on a pool of ethereal water,
where I closed my wings just to swim
with my wading fantasy of adore.

My love splashed with joy
as it discovered you beside me,
pink petals on a green stem
fond our dreams so far utopian
in a blessed on reality.

Gifted with an eerie aura
as I reached my fervent goal,
with a heavenly tune from
the amour's lute casting upon,
I descended with a renewed soul.
