Existence Poem by hajara abdul khader

Existence

Rating: 0.5

I stand upon a jutting stone
Sticking out from a cliff,
Overlooking the sea,
And the sky overhead.
With upturned face
Towards the pale-blue sky,
I ask a question;
Why am I here?
With keen eyes I wait;
Nothing comes from above,
But meaningful silence.
