Explain to me how life was so simple when we were younger,
Not having to worry about world hunger.
Just learning how to read and write,
No hearing about the next fight.
Ten years later war breaks out.
Keep everyone protected from the inside out.
Don't even let one of them bleed one dropp of blood,
It's so sad when it happens and I don't think it should.
Explain to me what we can do.
I want to make the violence go away forever.
I understand people think that violence is the answer,
But it's not worth it if we don't win and soldiers die from cancer.
