Explosion Poem by Daniel Trevelyn Joseph

Explosion

Between one pleasant moment, and the next,
Explodes a universe of resentment,

Face contorted and frozen in anger,
Eyes accusing and spewing hate,
Body unattainable, now very distant:

All changed utterly in a flash: the reason,
I gestured, mid-way, to one behind her!
