Eyes that are wide
Will see no less
For eyes are shut
That look no more

Perhaps eyes see
The tops of heads
And wonder why eyes
Will look no more

Eyes were golden
Eyes were in love
Lips said the words
That changed it all

Ears took the words
But eyes took the fall
Now eyes have nothing
Worth seeing at all

So Eyes they plead
But eyes look on
Eyes have decided
It's time to move on

And eyes will never
Meet eyes again
