Fable Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Fable

Fable

Science is too recent
-as defined
-just few centuries

We hear it removed false curtain
-it is lie and nonsense
-only killed care and shame
-what it did matches with
-the engine; or machines
-no feeling

It came and threw bomb
-example is Yankees'
-Hiroshima

With it came death-clouds
-poisons washed away
-burned bodies
-and brains!

One victim was Fable!

Elephant and rooster
-lamb, lion and camel
-and crow or pigeons
-remained what they were
-and
-acted as human

Beauties were Fables!

Animals lived then, were visible
-but now are dead, distinct
-thanks to this murderer

Oh fables, my dear please return!

Feel sick in stomach
-want puke and vomit
-when reading of science
-some bastard of bastards

I draw a line that
-takes me on a trip
-Constantinople to Kabul
-with ancient stories, history
-in my bag…and khorjin…
-no can food no water
-no need of plastic

Hate to see and observe
-the things that see experts
-and wrote one; Aziz Nesin:
-"Once a man had a lamb…
-it was male and the man
-wanted milk and poor lamb
-was beaten, and barred, and
-harmed and forced
-finally the lamb chose
-life, away in a cave
-and it changed
-legs grew thin and long
-so did its teeth and eyes
-when man came after milk
-faced a wolf…attack…kill…"

Oh terror…you are made…
-and enforced! ! !

The lamb changed in nature
-and mankind lost peace, life
-replacement for old peace
-became scare, displease
-and fear of terror! ! !
