Faceless Poem by David Lacey

Faceless

I can see in the dirty water
The city lies beneath the tide.
All I’ll say is that it must have caught her
Your daughter found her way inside.
Faceless there amongst the faceless
The murky depths a hidden place
We’ll find soon, it’s not hopeless
Could you for me describe her face?
