Faces Poem by David Harris

Faces

Everywhere we go
faces beam at us
with a multitude of expressions:
happy, sad, delight and anger.
The list goes on and on.
Some faces hold frowns and scowls,
while others hold broad smiles
like warm opening arms.
No matter where we go
we see them sometimes merging into one.
Then one face out of the masses
will have us reflecting
on a different time and place
in our distant past
rejoicing that we loved the experience
it no matter how long ago.
