Faded Light Poem by Lil Jam Jam

The moon is now visible as the sunset fades away
But the light lingers on and keeps the darkness at bay

The day’s heat has now left only a cool breeze of air
That is calm enough without the power to rustle a single hair
It’s amazing how quickly the afternoon’s noise has faded into quietness
And left only the chirp of the birds though that is heard less and less

The earth and the nature are so beautiful in this gray shade of light
For their colour shows up so exuberant and bright
