Failure To Live Poem by Eman obied

Failure To Live

I melt,
I melt as an ice cube
That dared to freeze.

I knelt,
I knelt on the rocky ground
As an elder on his knees.

I begged to clutch a fist
Of Pure happiness.

I ran to pursue a dream!
A dream of wealth and loveliness.

yet, I melt,
My knees in pain
Fail to clutch & ran too slow.
