Faint Heart Never Won Fair Lady Poem by Cabaline xxx

Faint Heart Never Won Fair Lady

I know that actually, you do care.
Somewhere beneath your disguise,
under your hardened mask,
of false indifference, you do care.
Your stubborn refusal to acknowledge,
my suffering, is but an act.
Break free from the shackles,
which you created to hide yourself,
and show the side that has been,
unlawfully imprisoned for far too long.
Let it be known that your heart is strong,
and that it is lucky enough,
to belong to someone who cares for it,
the same way that, in reality,
you actually care for me.
