Faith Poem by Patience

Faith

Remember what it's like to be human?
To know a true desire?
Do you recall feeling, breathing?
Healing wounds at heart?

Will children discover the meaning
Poets, music, art?

Can you teach without seeing
The reality of who we are?

When the oneness comes to guide the lost
And grateful to the path… Should we
Seek purpose, and permission to fly
Or sit and wait until we're asked?

Do you know your freedom?Do you feel the spark?
Can't believe the fiction?Lambs await the arc
Burning contradictions, hostage in the blood fire
We allowed the treason, all perversions justified

I believe tomorrow comes yesterday
As night falls, sanction to past
Still save the best for Saturday
Lumen in a shooting star
You can live gold, every other day
The future's close; your history's never far

Space-design the oceans, time-align the night.
Suns are kin, meeting here,
Reigning in their birth-right
Distant friends shall travel free,
Praying for the first time

Faith disarm these gifts of fear
Heaven loves the earth child
