Fall (A Poem I Wrote With My Son Simon When He Was 12) Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Fall (A Poem I Wrote With My Son Simon When He Was 12)

Rating: 5.0

Fall is pretty as can be
Leaves are falling off each tree
Dancing around in the air
A red one here, an orange one there

Mother's and Dad's will rake for awhile
And then all the kids can jump in each pile
Another fun thing is carving pumpkins
With triangle eyes and scary looking grins

Getting candy everywhere
Trick or Treating here and there
Johnny is Superman, and Frank is Batmen
Sue and Carol are Raggedy Andy and Raggedy Anne

School begins in the fall
Learning new things for one and all
We greet old friends with a smile and cheer
And look forward to a fun school year

Thanksgiving is very cool and nice
In the feast we eat turkey, pie and rice
Don't forget to mention football, The Thanksgiving day parade
and relatives that come from far far away

Fall is coming to an end
Winter is right around the bend
So get out your coats, gloves and boots too
Because any day now some magical white stuff will come to you

Hi, I'm Art Paul Schlosser and my son Simon wanted to write a poem with me about Autumn so here it is. Simon's lines are the first 2 and I do 3 & 4.
