Falling Star Poem by Allyson Gordon

Falling Star

Rating: 5.0

Can you hear it?
My heart ripping apart
But you don’t care a bit
Why do I even bother?

Why are you never here?
When I need you most
For you, I shed a tear
I don’t want you anymore

I don’t love you at all
Stay away from me
While I begin my fall
I start to descend…

So just watch from afar
I slowly disintergrate
Like a burning star
And then I’m gone

Really a nice poem though the pain which words reflect can actually be felt after reading it.
