Familietheater

Pimmetje, zeven jaar oud,
die riep eens wat boud:
'Ach tante toch
wat heeft die vrouw
veel haren op haar benen';
'maar jongen toch
dat is je oom'.
'Houdt die dan
van vrouwenkleding';
en tante uit
de Trompettenbuurt
kon toen haar lach
niet meer houden
en mijn grote oom werd
naar het Fluitenkruid
nummer zoveel gestuurd,
noch hoor ik ome Piet
plots als tante Pia
op haar maxi Puch
springend, verzuchtend
vluchten van
het verbaasde gezicht
van kleine neefje Pim.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
