Family Ties

In the shadows of my mind,
you're near to me, not far,
for you have always been
closer, than you actually are!
In the corner of my eyes, I
see your look, so tenderly.
When I stare into space,
there you are, staring back
at me. In the shadows of my
mind, there's a place, only
you can fill and never, go
away. In the corners of my
eyes, they're showing how
much, I wanted you, to stay.
Now, if you take the shadows
of my mind, with the corners
of my eyes, how can you not
notice, I still have, family ties!
