Fantasy World Poem by Poemahontas Poemadonna

Fantasy World

I know a place
Where love conquers all
On the flip side
It's a monster's ball

Predators and prey
Having fun as they play
Predators today
Killing kids as they play

A place where blessings
Are real signs from God
It's a bad lesson
When you spare the rod

A place where neighbors
Accepts your color
Follow our Savior
Love one another

Music from the birds
Songs for us to sleep
Poets sharing words
Poems for all to keep

Maybe I'm dreaming
I still feel alive
People are screaming
How did we survive

In a perfect world
Full of sanity
I hear 'wake up girl'
It's just a fantasy
