Far Away

The thousand miles between us
Have lost there surging power
Your smile has reached me
And made my heart to flower

Tho you may be so far away
I know your right here in me
Your heart has opened mine
You did it without the key

Just a smile from afar
And words that reach in deep
You lifted me up from below
Now my heart thou may keep

You have lit up my life
With the glow from your heart
I would give you the world
Just for the way thou art

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
