Faraway Lovers Poem by Rosemary Monahan

Faraway Lovers

I love you
but you're not here.
You love me
I'm not there.
If you were here
I'd give you a warm embrace.
If I was there
you'd kiss my face.
At night I look in the sky above
See your face and know its love.
Your name is music to my ear
Though your touch is not near.
