Fat Cats Poem by Brian Stafford

Fat Cats

Rating: 5.0

Your just a pawn in their game,
for them its always the same;

They get there cake and eat it;
you get the crumbs from a biscuit;

They take all the chances,
you do all the dances;

They get pots a plenty,
you, pots that are empty:

When things go to the wall,
its you who takes the fall:

Fat cats skim and scheme,
you, can only scream;

Fat cats get all the cream,
you, a broken dream;

Your just a pawn in their game,
for them its always the same;

They carry on regardless,
its you, who gets paid less;

There's no limit to there cheek;
or the havoc that they reek;

They keep spending at the till;
but you have to pay the bill;

When things go to the wall,
Its you who takes the fall:

Fat cats skim and scheme,
you, can only scream;

Fat cats get all the cream,
you, a broken dream;
