Fatal Mistake
I’ve made a mistake
One worth telling
Mistaken a situation
For the worst
Saw her with
Another guy
Close, leaning together
Grabbed my bat
Swung at them
I did
Killed them both
Only to discover
Her leg in cast
Walk alone
I’m sitting
Here
All alone
Regretting
Her death
Cursing my stupidity
Sitting here on the bridge
Looking down
Endless blue abyss
Below
Leap down
Body broken
On impact
