Father ≪3 Poem by Sara Hol

Father ≪3

Rating: 5.0

I watched your mentality die
just a little more each day,
I watched your sad eyes
hide the precipitation
you had not allowed to display.

I watched your shoulders
crease from physical exhaustion,
I watched your heart
shrivel, from the loss of oxygen.

I watched your aging body
lye limp and lifeless,
and when I had watched
you smile
it was priceless.

I watched you work your heart and soul
to give us the life we need,
I watched you take in all the pain
that anyone ever could
without greed.

I love you father
with all of my heart,
thank you for loving me
emotionally I hope we never do part
and one day your soul is set free.
