Father & Son Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Father & Son

Rating: 4.5

Should you not awaken
For the glorious sunrise
I will search deep within
To find the source of my anger

Should you lay in bed depressed
And waste another beautiful day
I will sit in meditation
And contemplate your fate

Should you stay locked in your room
Dwelling on the negativity
I will walk in reflection
And still love you one more time

Should you mope day in and day out
And play to the tune of The End
I will hug you and say: I love you
And begin the journey once again

A lovely well written poem of the understanding and empathy shown to a Son from a loving Father.

An insightful poem bristling with wisdom. A beautiful rhetorical poem. Thanks for sharing Richard.

Chinedu, if it's bristling with wisdom, I'm on the right track! Thank you so very much for your continued support and encouragement! ! !
