Fear Of Rejection Poem by Brianna Trombley

Fear Of Rejection

Rating: 5.0

You sit there
Passion burning inside
Hoping, wishing
It will soon subside

For you can not, will not
Do what you wish to do
Her love is something
You could never pursue

Longingly you watch her
Day and night
Although you are unhappy
Just sitting there with her in your sight

You long to hold her
Have her by your side
But what if you get shut down
That would hurt your pride

Yes, that’s what always holding you back
Fear of rejection
Leaving you in a lonely fantasy
Causing loves suppression
