Electric Lady

Fearless

I'm not afraid of the unknown
Yet I'm as sweet as a chocolate truffle
Wrapped in the hands of bliss
You have me at hello
Every time you speak
For you're the unknown
Watching over me
Yes my conscience weighs a ton
Forgive me for my restless style
Love is not a consolation prize
It's a gift
As we dream up the perfect life together
Without falling too fast
Yet we shall fall on our own
When the time is crazy
And out of this world
Friends can be lovers
And lovers can be friends
Let's turn off the lights
And hear Cupid scream
If I were a brilliant poet
I'd write my brilliant words
On your brilliant lips
Then I'd kiss those brilliant lips
For all brilliant eternity. Smooches!
