February Blues Poem by Paul Holmes

February Blues

Grey and overcast
Patch of blue the rarest gem
Brief glow of sunlight.

Streets covered in snow
Looking so clean and so pure
Evening light’s blue hue.

Blue lips soon turn red
Warm kisses are gently placed
Smiles ignore the cold.
