how deep is the sky?
in distance and color
as far as a touch away
as deep as the clear sea reflected blue
how deep can i see?
the clouds fluffy as pillows
or cotton candy
oh... to sleep on a bed of clouds,
wake in another time zone
how far is the sky?
close enough to comfort
yet far enough to admire
so beautiful the sky
this palate of powder pinks blues whites purples and crimsons
depending on the time of day
ever changing to fit
the moment or mood
from day to night
feel this colorful limitless sky
