Feelings Of Abandonment Poem by Rosie Bourget

Feelings Of Abandonment

Rating: 5.0

The need for human companionship is universal
We feel better when we live in close proximity.
Humans are creatures of community
And we literally need each other for companionship.

Sheila says,
Being alone is such an isolated lifestyle one can experience.
She feels abandoned in her despair
She has been like this for years
While her smile hides her tears.

Sheila says
She is lonely
She never could get close to her family
Her wish is to find a compatible friend
Who can understand her acute pain.

Sheila says,
You can have all the money in the world
But if you don't have anyone to share your life with,
If nobody values you
You have nothing.

I like how the Poetess crafted this beautiful poem. So well conveyed and executed. Yes, life is meaningless if we are living in loneliness. Wonderful and insightful with a meaningful message.

Sheila says, You can have all the money in the world But if you don't have anyone to share your life with, If nobody values you You have nothing........so true. A life without companions is really painful. If no one to share with us there is nothing, there is no value of money. A beautiful poem on loneliness has been presented here startlingly.10
