Felled Over Yourself Poem by Satish Verma

Felled Over Yourself

Sun was tired today
rising slowly between birth and death.
A stranger snatches away my heart.

A mimic of the moon in
your eyes throws a challenge. Moon himself
descends in the dark to test your love.

Pain was not responding
to music of night songbird,
you started going away from you.
