Feltrinell's ashtray ll



to put oneself
out in an incan
descent nothing;

in the highway tunnel
a shark's mouth, diving,
still at the wheel,

off to the old partisans,
the evening news cross
fading ——

wheat field where the pylon stands

a gray VW bus rebuilt as a mobile
home with curtains in the windows

nulla lucente

back pocket, in it a box
of cigarettes, a simple hand*

*grenade, filled with pressed——
