Findings Poem by David Olughu

Findings

I found Christ;
I found love;
love so unconditional, He left His place above
to exchange my sinful life for His guiltless self.

I found Christ;
I found humility;
humility so humble, He got humiliated
despite who He is
so I could some day be the King I was meant to be.

I found Christ;
I found hope;
hope unimaginable, He didn't just put a light at the end of the tunnel,
He became light in the tunnel.

I found Christ;
I found peace;
peace so calm, He gave access to rest in the Father's bosom,
that challenges I face no longer bother.

I found Christ;
I found Grace;
Grace unspeakable, to run a race
in a world without a track.

Christ found me so I could find Him;
I found SALVATION.
