Fire, Earth, Water Poem by Amanda Elizabeth Sanchez

Fire, Earth, Water

Proud lioness, encouraged and enlightened
Prowls, courageous despite the remark
Courteous with visions, senses heightened
Desirable, affectionate in calm the dark

Lurking intuition, lacking prominent stability
Balancing act, never mind both feet grounded
She's put off by his stubborness of practicality
In Earth there's no heart felt demanded

Slippery fish, through the ocean never caught
Rising hopes disregaured, mindless and cloudy
Like fog, shadows. Love is not one to be taught
Ever mind changing, her heart grows doughty

Fire, Earth, Water. Heat rises, dust falls, water
Trickles Down, down, down the creek... Mud.
Fire and water do not mix, clambering after
Roars. In perfection, only one to be her stud
