Firefly ‘66 Poem by Barry Middleton

Firefly ‘66

moon, stars and fireflies
the moon is new
the stars are dim with mist
a firefly is blinking in the wet darkness
brighter than the moon and stars
an instant and gone
a star fading
lost in the universe
