Fireworks Poem by Silvana Krculic

Fireworks

Rating: 4.2

My life was lately
on the go...
sleeping bag and travel kit,
and late moon's show

you came, untied the
strings...
of adventure, reassurance,
gave my soul wings

you're the warm feeling
inside of me,
you can stay or leave,
fade away or be free

to look for certainty
I won't...
not sure what's granted
to me here on earth

a glimpse of eternity
would be a bliss,
simple things inspire me
like a late night- kiss

I can grasp for thoughts
that- linger on...
because in you I found
that special someone

when the hot summer
heat subsides
we can again drive in
circles, look for new tides

with hands outstretched to
a different sky-
induced by the fireworks
of this- Fourth of July
