First Kiss Poem by Lely Atempa

First Kiss

I've only dreamed of a kiss with a little sizzle to it
One that would leave me breathless
One that would make me want more
One that you see in romance movies and shows

Reality is a big disappointment in that sense

My first kiss had no sizzle
But teeth clashing into each other

It didn't leave me breathless
But pure disappointment

It didn't make me want more then I received
In Fact I wanted to get away as fast as possible

It wasn't like the ones you see in romance movies or shows
It was so terrible that I pushed him away

The first kiss is suppose to be perfect and magical
Not a runway of bashing throats, tongues and teeth
