First Kiss Poem by Fane Oat

First Kiss

Rating: 5.0

How is a first kiss, so special and true?
If you know that there will be many after?
Different lips, of shapes and sizes,
I can’t take my first kiss from you.
I’ll wait for a while, until I’m old,
old enough to marry.
Then my first kiss will be special and true,
'cause it’s from my life partner, behold.

I'm sorry it can't be from you today,
I think I would like it a lot.
But until I am older, and feel real love,
I wait for a first kiss to convey.
Although your lips may be good lookin',
I'll wait for about 10 years.
Although I want to so very much,
I know it would be a sin.
