F-irst thing in the morning,
L-et's pray before the Lord;
O-ctober twenty-fourth day,
R-eady ourselves for His word.
E-arly in the morning,
N-ever deny the dawn's delight;
C-herish the touch of breeze,
E-ven the clouds so white.
V-iew in the early morn
I-s pleasant to the eyes;
L-et's look upon the skyway,
L-et's welcome the sunrise.
A-llow our eyes to open to every little blessing;
R-ise up from slumber, first thing in the morning.
