First Thoughts Poem by adam quinones

I've searched for so long that I came to the point where I never thought I live to find you,
I was told to stop looking and you'd find me,
that was merely wishful thinking.
But the minute you came in to my life,
if at first only in words, I knew from then that you were her!
And when the moment came for me to meet you,
if yet again since a time that seems so far then,
I swear to you it felt as though you took my soul,
to mold forever within your hold.
For when I finally gazed upon your beauty,
my heart, my body and my mind were all connected for the first time,
in absolute agreement, the entirety of me,
knew it was completed.
