Fish-Eye Lens Poem by Ananta Madhavan

Fish-Eye Lens

The fish-eye lens,
All-seeing solitaire,
Cyclops-gathering
In oval arenas,
A hemisphere within
rotundity's embrace,
Smothering the edges,
Distending all but him,
Who saves his own proportion,
By watching through this lens.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
1969, imagining a cosmic CCTV, perhaps.
