Five Minutes Thought Poem by Dan Walters

Five Minutes Thought

Rating: 2.7

I walked down the street
I saw a family going somewhere
In the back there was a child
Strapped tightly to his car seat
And I wanted to be
Fastened to something like that

I walked up to the front door of my house
And put the key in the lock
I slowly turn it right
And I wanted to be
The metal touching the other metal

I walked inside and made my way here
Where I pressed a button and it lit up blue
Somehow this made the computer work
And at this moment I want to be
The components I'll never understand
Working together in such a fashion
