Fix It Poem by Diane Rosenstein

Fix It

This chance of mine
I bounce on it
It's coming on
so salvage quick

It's dashboard light
It's out of hand
It's leaving here
Not homeward bound

Please-fix it, fix it, FIX IT, FIX IT

It comes at night
and steals the sheets
It's meeting me
and soon indeed

I can't despair
Not at this chance
A little left
At one more dance

Why don't you fix it, fix it, FIX IT, FIX IT? ?

Now two or one
He shouts to me
I'm overcome
My engine beams

It's two or more
& riding clean
When cards are down
Five kings with me

So fix it, fix it, FIX IT, FIX IT!
