Flap Away Unlovely Buzzard

Flap away unlovely buzzard
Gather better music if you may
You will not snatch rich cherries from the boughs
Of the living day
So shall the larks still sing
Though postmodernists tell them to shut up
Adopt a cynical air you shall not
Pecking at my wondering, wandering here..
Wonder shall remain
As Christ, declaimed
And resurrect the dying day
So that you will have no feast,
Collect the toll we had to pay
Because everything everything
Will remain so alive.
